...Gandhiji was so wrong! i feel. by giving your another cheek to the person who has hit you, you are actually giving him a chance to do that wicked thing again, to have fun in beating you, and keep you under his command. i realised that it is no good in waiting, that the person would somehow change and will stop behaving as he does so, for now. atleast not in today's world. some might change. n there are people who do. but some are stubborn. they don't budge whatever may happen to the poor guy. if you keep mum, people will take you by guilt. if you wait...and keep on waiting for the things to change, without saying any word against them, they would crush you down and leave no trace of you. that doesn't mean u shouldn't be benevolent. it always is in your favour. but where, after being patient and being human; if the situation still persists, then you probably , just need to show that you are not a lame goat but a lion.
        Now-a-days, people are telling me, that i have changed a lot. i am not the same as to what i was a few years ago. i calmly smile back and say, " may be i have learnt the ways of this world."
